With most customers now concerned with crane outrigger loadings, McGovern Crane Hire has invested in their own large number of rigger mats and computer software for calculating ground pressures from the crane. Here is a selection of some of the mats we offer.

Steel MAts

  • Sizes From 2.5x1.25mtr up to 3.0x2mtr
  • Point loading of up to 200t

Polyethylene Mats

  • Sizes From 0.6x0.6mtr up to 2x1.25mtr
  • Point loading of up to 160t

ECO Lift Outrigger Multi Mat System

  • This is a new system providing a 2.25mtr Square area, this is acquired by combining 5 1.5x0.5x0.1mtr mats weighing 35kg each, allowing the mats to be positioned manually Without the need to half rig a crane.
  • We also now have the larger 1.8 x 0.6 x 0.1 system allowing a 3.24mtr square area this also achieved with 5 mats

hardwood ekki mats

  • Sizes From 3x1mtr up to 5x1mtr Other sizes available on request
  • Ekki wood provides extra durability and longevity over traditional wooden mats

UniMat System

  • We have the unimat system, this is a modular aluminium mat system capable of creating 2.0 x 2.0 mat creating a 4mtr square area
